Allisyn Gillet: Market Tower Peregrine Falcons

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources monitors and manages around 50 at-risk bird species, each of which faces a unique suite of threats. Allisyn Gillet, state ornithologist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will talk about the state’s Peregrine Falcon monitoring program, focusing on the epic romances between the falcons in downtown Indianapolis. She will describe the lives and legacies of these birds and end with a note on how you can contribute to the conservation of the state’s beautiful avifauna.
