Join Amy Hodson and Brown County State Park Naturalist Kashena Hottinger as they lead you on a hike through Brown County State Park.  This hike will target migrating warblers, vireos, tanagers, and flycatchers.  More specifically, this trip will target Kentucky, Hooded, and Worm-eating Warblers.    This hike will consist of a 2-3 mile walk through various terrains which could include steep hillsides, so appropriate footwear should be considered. While on this hike, Kashena will educate us on the history of Brown County State Park, and other features of the park we may enjoy  in addition to the birding.   There is a $7 gate fee per vehicle.  We will meet at 7 am at the Walmart located at 1133 North Emerson Avenue located in Greenwood.  Participants can expect to return to Indy around 1 pm.  Registration is encouraged, but not required.
