Christmas Bird Counts

For this Christmas Bird Count meet at McCloud Nature Park, located southwest of North Salem in Hendricks County, at 8:30 am. It is preferred that participants register in advance with Roger Hedge. The group will meet for lunch in North Salem at 12:30 pm. Anyone who wishes to continue after lunch is welcome to join Roger in the afternoon.

The Indianapolis CBC, sponsored by the ABAS, takes place within a 15-mile-diameter circle covering the northeast side of Indianapolis, with the center point being in Fort Harrison State Park. If you are a beginning birder, you will be able to join a group that includes at least one experienced birdwatcher. Register to participate by emailing John Schaust at schaust@sbcglobal.net.
